A profession, by coincidence
I entered Human Resources almost by coincidence, but never experienced it as an isolated profession. I was interested in the human architecture of organizations.

Learning to be heard
A colleague said working with me was like listening to jazz piano. If you heard the structure underneath, the music was rich. If you didn't, it could simply sound like noise.
Complexity must become understandable before it becomes useful.
2012 — ALIGN begins
At Rixos, the assignment was unusual by design: address the problems, build what was needed, find a permanent leader, replace myself, and leave.
Success is helping the organization carry the work forward itself.
When the blueprint meets reality
Clients arrived asking for training, a new structure, an HR department, Category Management, or a commission system. The requested solution was not always the real problem.
What is actually preventing the organization from doing what it needs to do?
Finding the right problem beats solving the wrong problem brilliantly.
A decade of facilitation
